Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) today announced the winners of the eBay charity auction of two World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade limited-edition XPS™ M1710 notebooks. Trip Hoover of Texas and Daniel Marinow of Germany combined bid nearly $12,000 for these unique notebook PCs, with all proceeds benefiting America’s Second Harvest, the Nation’s Food Bank Network. In addition to the auction, Dell is sponsoring an online sweepstakes in which WoW fans can win one of five XPS 710 H2C Gaming PCs outfitted with new 27-inch wide screen monitors.
