Turkey Producer Price Inflation Lowest Since December 2013

(RTTNews) - Turkey's producer price inflation eased notably in November to reach its lowest level since December 2013, after accelerating in the previous month, figures from the Turkish Statistical Institute showed Wednesday.

The domestic producer price index climbed 8.36 percent year-on-year in November, much slower than October's 10.10 percent rise. It was the lowest inflation figure since December 2013, when prices rose 6.97 percent.

Producer prices in the manufacturing sector advanced 9.08 percent annually in November and those of prices in the mining and quarrying grew by 3.29 percent.

On a monthly basis, producer prices declined 0.97 percent in November, in contrast to a 0.92 percent increase in the previous month. It was the first decline in six months.
