Norway Trade Surplus Falls In January
(RTTNews) - Norway's trade surplus decreased in January as exports dropped faster than imports, Statistics Norway reported Monday
The trade surplus fell to NOK 27.1 billion in January from NOK 30.14 billion in December. Exports dropped by 6.7 percent from the previous month and imports slid 4.6 percent.
Year-on-year, imports climbed 4.6 percent in January. By contrast, exports decreased 20.9 percent.
Compared to the same month of last year, the trade surplus declined 43.5 percent in January.
