Denmark Producer Prices Fall In January

(RTTNews) - Denmark's producer prices declined sharply at the beginning of the year, figures from Statistics Denmark showed Monday.

The overall producer price index for goods fell 5.0 percent year-over-year in January and slid 0.6 percent from the previous month.

At the same time, domestic market producer prices declined 7.1 percent annually and fell 1.9 percent monthly in January.

Export market producer prices dropped 3.0 percent yearly in January, while rose 0.5 percent from the prior month.

The import price index slid 1.2 percent in January due to decline in international oil prices. Month-on-month, import prices dipped by 0.3 percent.
