Total System Services, Inc -- Moody's affirms Total System Services' Baa3 senior unsecured rating following plans to acquire TransFirst; outlook stable
New York, January 27, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") affirmed Total System Services, Inc.'s ("TSYS") senior unsecured rating at Baa3. The rating outlook remains stable. This action follows today's announcement that TSYS has signed a definitive agreement to acquire TransFirst, Inc. ("TransFirst") for $2.35 billion in cash. TSYS expects the acquisition to close during the second quarter of 2016.
