Semiconductor Manufacturing Int'l Corp. -- Moody's: China's SMIC to benefit from investment by Shanghai Integrated Circuit Investment Fund
Hong Kong, January 26, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service says that the announcement by Shanghai Integrated Circuit Investment Fund (SICIF unrated) that it will be investing a total of RMB20 billion in Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC, Baa3 stable) as well as two other Shanghai-based semiconductor manufacturing companies is credit positive for SMIC.
