New York, July 19, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service has affirmed the Aaa insurance financial strength (IFS) ratings of the following US life insurers and changed their outlooks to stable from negative: New York Life Insurance Company (NYL), Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company (NML), and Teachers Insurance & Annuity Association of America (TIAA). See below for a complete rating list. The rating actions follow the affirmation of the Aaa rating of the US government with a stable outlook.
