Moody's: Altius III Funding, Ltd. ratings unaffected by Change in Ownership Control of Parent of Cairn Capital North America Inc.

New York, March 17, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service has determined that the deemed assignment of the Collateral Management Agreement entered into by Altius III Funding, Ltd., (the "Issuer"), currently managed by Cairn Capital North America Inc. ("Cairn"), as a result of a change in ownership control of the parent of Cairn effective as of March 17, 2016, (the "Deemed Assignment"), and performance of the activities contemplated thereby, will not in and of themselves and at this time result in the immediate withdrawal, reduction or other adverse action with respect to the Moody's current long term (including any private or confidential rating) of the Class S Notes, the Class A Notes, the Class B Notes, the Class C Notes, the Class D Notes, and the Class E Notes issued by the Issuer. Moody's does not express an opinion as to whether the Deemed Assignment could have non-credit-related effects.
