MetLife, Inc. -- Moody's corrects MetLife non-cumulative mandatory trigger preferred stock rating to Baa3(hyb) from Baa2(hyb)
New York, October 23, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service has corrected the rating assigned to MetLife Inc. ("MetLife"; NYSE:MET, senior debt at A3, stable) $600 million floating rate non-cumulative preferred stock, Series A (Series A) and $1.5 billion 5.250% fixed-to-floating rate non-cumulative preferred stock, Series C (Series C) to Baa3(hyb) from Baa2(hyb). Series A preferred stock was issued in 2005 and Series C preferred stock was issued in 2015 by MetLife. No other MetLife ratings are affected; the rating outlook remains stable.
