L&Q Group -- Moody's places the ratings for L&Q Group under review for downgrade on anticipated merger with East Thames Limited
London, 25 November 2016 -- Moody's Public Sector Europe ("MPSE") placed the A1 long-term issuer ratings of L&Q Group (L&Q) and the long-term senior secured ratings of London & Quadrant Housing Trust under review for downgrade in anticipation of the planned merger with East Thames Limited (East Thames) which is expected to be completed in December 2016. The merger has been approved by Boards of both companies. East Thames will become a subsidiary of L&Q when the merger completes.
