Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd -- Moody's upgrades ICBC NZ to A1 on revised parent guarantee

Sydney, August 28, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service has upgraded Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (New Zealand) Limited's (ICBCNZ) long-term bank deposits, senior unsecured and issuer ratings to A1 from A2. The bank's senior unsecured MTN rating was also upgraded to (P)A1 from (P)A2. Short-term bank deposits and issuer ratings were affirmed at P-1 while the bank's deposit note/CD Program was also affirmed at (P)P-1. The outlook on the ratings is stable.
