Camden Property Trust -- Moody's revises Camden Property Trust's rating outlook to positive

New York, August 19, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") affirmed Camden Property Trust's ("CPT") senior unsecured rating at Baa1 and revised the outlook to positive from stable. The revision in outlook reflects the REIT's growth in size and leadership while maintaining the lowest leverage ratios and secured debt levels in the multifamily REIT space. The positive outlook also reflects our expectation that the REIT will continue to maintain strong operating metrics in its apartment markets, despite an imminent slowdown in Houston, its second largest market.
