Your Netflix Bill Is Going Up

(RTTNews) - Netflix intends to increase the rates of its subscription plan. The online video streaming giant plans to raise subscription prices for the middle and premium bundles by $1 and $2, respectively.

The subscription price for the "standard" tier will increase from $9.99 to $10.99, while "premium" tier subscription rate will increase from $11.99 to $13.99. However, pricing for the "basic" $7.99 tier will see no price changes.

The price increases will start reflecting for existing subscribers from November.

In a statement, Netflix said, "From time to time, Netflix plans and pricing are adjusted as we add more exclusive TV shows and movies, introduce new product features and improve the overall Netflix experience to help members find something great to watch even faster."

Netflix currently has nearly 104 million subscribers.
