Youku Tudou Q2 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Youku Tudou Inc. (YOKU) Tuesday said second-quarter loss widened to RMB 164.4 million, or $26.5 million, from RMB 105.1 million in the same period last year.

On a per-share basis, loss widened to RMB 0.05, or $0.01 per share from RMB 0.04 last year. Net loss per ADS for the quarter was RMB 0.88, widerr than RMB 0.63 last year.

Adjusted loss for the quarter was RMB 75.9 million, or $12.2 million. On average, eight analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.34 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues totaled RMB 958.72 million, or $154.54 million, up from RMB 753.46 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of RMB 980.61 million.

Looking ahead to the third quarter, the company has forecast revenues in the range of RMB 1.09 million to RMB 1.13 billion. Analysts currently expect third-quarter revenues of RMB 1.15 billion.
