Yamana Gold Q2 Production Exceed Plan - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Yamana Gold Inc. (YAU.L, YRI.TO, AUY) said its second-quarter production exceeded plan and preliminary costs are within the previous guidance range. For the second-quarter, production was 257,556 gold equivalent ounces on a GEO basis. Both gold and silver production were above plan, for the quarter. The company continues to expect positive free cash flow in the second quarter.

Yamana Gold said, as a result of the sale of Chapada, the company updated its full-year 2019 production guidance. Total GEO production is now projected to be 1,010,000 gold equivalent ounces.

The company will release its complete second quarter operational and financial results on July 25, 2019.
