Yahoo! to Exclusively Webcast Howard Stern Live Event Celebrating His Move to Satellite Radio

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) today announced an exclusivelive video and audio webcast of Howard Stern's celebratory eventsimmediately following the airing of his finale on terrestrial radioFriday, December 16, 2005.

Yahoo! will webcast the activities of the self-proclaimed "King ofAll Media" in and around New York City once he has left the radiostation, beginning at 9am (EST). Stern will be escorted on aYahoo!-branded double-decker bus after his show and brought to anexclusive special event at the Hard Rock Cafe, all of which will bewebcast LIVE from Yahoo!.

"Howard's fans will be able to celebrate his final day as if theywere personally attending all the day's events," said Lloyd Braun,head of the Yahoo! Media Group. "We've integrated many of our besttools and services throughout Yahoo! so that fans can connect withtheir community to watch, listen and engage in this experience."

To access the webcast, consumers can go to yahoo.com and searchfor "Howard Stern." They will be taken to a special countdown sitewhere they will have access to the webcast, as well as other exclusiveHoward Stern-related content. Additionally, through integratedservices such as Yahoo! 360, Flickr, Yahoo! Podcasts,Yahoo!(R) Messenger with Voice and other elements, fans will be ableto connect, blog, share photos, offer messages and tributes, and getnews and information as part of the "Howard Nation" online communityas he marks his exit from FM to satellite.
