Williams-Sonoma Q3 Profit Tops View; Lifts FY13 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Williams-Sonoma Inc. (WSM) Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $56.7 million or $0.58 per share, compared to $48.9 million or $0.49 per share last year.

On average, 24 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.55 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net revenues grew 11.3 percent to $1.05 billion from $944.55 million a year ago, while 21 analysts estimated revenues of $1.04 billion for the quarter.

Looking forward to the fourth quarter, the company expects earnings of $1.30 to $1.37 per share and revenues of $1.37 billion to $1.43 billion. Analyst currently estimate earnings of $1.36 per share on revenues of $1.44 billion for the quarter.

For the full year, the company now expects adjusted earnings of $2.76 to $2.83 per share and revenues of $4.29 billion to $4.35 billion. Analyst currently estimate earnings of $2.80 per share on revenues of $4.34 billion for the year.

Previously, Williams-Sonoma expected earnings of $2.69 to $2.79 per share and revenues of $4.26 billion to $4.34 billion.
