Wi-Lan CEO James Skippen To Retire

(RTTNews) - Wi-Lan Inc. (WILN) said Monday that James Skippen plans to retire from his position as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, starting an orderly leadership transition over the next year.

Skippen has agreed to stay on as President and Chief Executive Officer until such time as a suitable replacement has been identified and hired.

A special committee of the Board will immediately begin the search for a new permanent CEO with the assistance of a leading search firm. Skippen will work closely with the Board to help identify and recruit a suitable replacement.
