VF Corp Reports 2% Decline In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - VF Corp (VFC) reported earnings for third quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line fell to $459.86 million, or $1.07 per share. This was down from $470.53 million, or $1.08 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.12 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.6% to $3.61 billion. This was up from $3.52 billion last year.
