Venezuelan Wireless Operator Movilnet Selects Comverse Solutions for Billing and Mobile Internet Gateway

Comverse, a subsidiary of Comverse Technology, Inc. and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services, today announced that Telecomunicaciones Movilnet CA, a leading mobile operator in Venezuela, will expand its use of Comverse Billing Solutions by deploying Comverse’s Real-Time Billing Solution (RTBS) and leveraging its real-time marketing capabilities. Movilnet will manage all of its prepaid and postpaid subscribers across both its GSM and CDMA networks with Comverse billing solutions. In addition, Movilnet will deploy the Comverse Mobile Internet Gateway to offer subscribers an enriched mobile browsing experience.
