VCA Inc. Bottom Line Climbs 14% In Q3

(RTTNews) - VCA Inc. (WOOF) revealed a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $55.64 million, or $0.68 per share. This was up from $48.72 million, or $0.56 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.67 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 10.4% to $551.72 million. This was up from $499.58 million last year.
