United Online Completes Separation Of FTD Companies

(RTTNews) - United Online, Inc.(UNTD), Friday said it completed the separation of FTD Companies, Inc., through a tax-free dividend involving the distribution of all FTD common shares held by United Online to United Online's stockholders.

Additionally, United Online also announced the completion of a one-for-seven reverse stock split of its shares. United Online said that FTD is an independent company that will begin trading under the symbol "FTD" on the Nasdaq. United Online said it will continue to operate the businesses of its content & media and communications segments, supported by the Classmates, StayFriends, MyPoints, NetZero, and Juno brands.
