United Flights Grounded By Computer Problems

(RTTNews) - United Airlines' flights were temporarily grounded on Tuesday morning due to a computer glitch, leading to delays for passengers.

The airline began delaying flights at about 9 a.m. Eastern time to ensure that its planes could take off with proper dispatching information. The airline, while not divulging the nature of the glitch, began resuming flights about 40 minutes later.

United did not say how many flights were delayed or whether any had been canceled.

Meanwhile, some passengers reportedly took on to social media, stating that pilots were telling them the delays were caused by erroneous flight plans.
