Unisys Names Paul Weaver Interim Chairman, Janet Haugen Interim CEO

(RTTNews) - Information Technology company Unisys Corp (UIS) on Monday announced that its Board has made significant progress in its previously announced search for a successor to Chairman and CEO Ed Coleman, whose departure was recently disclosed.

In the interim, effective December 2, 2014, the Board has appointed Paul Weaver as interim Chairman and named Janet Haugen as interim CEO. Weaver is currently lead independent director of the Unisys Board, while Haugen is the company's Chief Financial Officer.

"The Board has interviewed a number of strong candidates and is working now to complete the search process," said Paul Weaver. "We are confident that we will soon have a new leader in place with the experience and qualifications needed to lead the company's growth agenda. We are taking the time necessary to ensure that the appointment is the best one for Unisys and its stakeholders."
