UltiPro® Users Gather in Las Vegas for "Connections 2009” Global User Conference

Ultimate Software (Nasdaq: ULTI), a leading provider of end-to-end strategic human resources, payroll, and talent management solutions, today announced the success of Connections 2009, its second annual global user conference, held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas from Sept. 15-18. Co-sponsored by Dell® and IBM®, Connections 2009 brought together more than 600 UltiPro users from across North America.

The conference provided an open forum for customers to learn new strategies and insights from both Ultimate Software leadership and fellow users, share best practices, see demonstrations, hear about upcoming product directions, and expand their network of peers.

"The UltiPro Connections User Conference was a great way for me to exchange ideas with other UltiPro users,” said Jackie Wells, director of payroll for Fujitsu America, an Ultimate customer since 2008 with approximately 5,300 employees. "The energy at the conference was great, and I enjoyed it very much.”

Attendees gave high marks to the comprehensive agenda that appealed to both new and veteran HR, payroll, and HRIS practitioners and HR executives using UltiPro. In addition to 40 sessions on topics ranging from UltiPro’s business intelligence tools to upcoming UltiPro enhancements to best practices in HR wellness programs and legislative compliance, attendees also had the opportunity to participate in regional user-group meetings, hands-on lab sessions, and one-on-one meetings with Ultimate representatives.
