EVANSVILLE, Ind., March 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- U-Haul Company of Louisville is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents who were affected by the severe storms that caused damage throughout Southern Indiana on Wednesday morning.

Many homes have sustained damage and a number of trees fell on I-69, closing parts of the interstate.

"These severe storms slammed Southern Indiana overnight and into Wednesday morning," U-Haul Company of Louisville president Chris Nester said. "There were more than 1,500 people without power.
