The MV Henna Belonging to HNA Cruise and Yacht Management Co., Ltd is Detained in Jeju

The MV Henna belonging to HNA Cruise and Yacht Management Co., Ltd has been arrested in Jeju by local court in the Republic of Korea, before its normal departure, 16:00 p.m. 13 Sep. at local time.

The Shagang Shipping co., LTD (Hong Kong), member of Jiangsu Shagang Group Co., Ltd applied a legal procedure to the local court for seizure of MV henna due to a dispute, in which have been boarded over 2300 person, including 650 crews, it said it has been 20 hours for the seizure and the departure time is still undetermined.

HNA Cruise has launched the emergency procedure after the seizure, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the P. R.C., China National Tourism Administration, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Korea and other related institutions have been submitted. Currently, HNA side is coordinating positively with the local side for maintenance of the passengers' rights and rapid departure. Meanwhile, all passengers in Henna are under a suitable physical and emotional care by our side.

Right now, HNA Cruise and Yacht Management Co., Ltd is on the way to coordinate the related parties for a safety and immediate departure, the compensation plan are also preparing at the same time by HNA side.
