Target Hires Brad Maiorino As Chief Information Security Officer

(RTTNews) - Target Corp. (TGT) said Tuesday that it has hired Brad Maiorino as senior vice president, chief information security officer.

Maiorino, who joins Target effective June 16, will be responsible for the company's information security and technology risk strategy helping to ensure that the company, its guests and team members are protected from internal and external information security threats.

Maiorino comes to Target from General Motors Co. (GM) where he was the company's chief information security and information technology risk officer. Prior to General Motors, he was the chief information security officer at General Electric Co. (GE).
