Sykes Enterprises Q4 Results Top Estimate; Outlook Weak

(RTTNews) - Sykes Enterprises, Inc. (SYKE) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $22.5 million or $0.53 per share, compared to $11.0 million or $0.26 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings per share for the fourth quarter increased to $0.55 from $0.33 in the same quarter last year.

Fourth quarter revenues rose 4.3% to $349.93 million from $335.34 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.52 per share on revenue of $348.63 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking forward to the first quarter, the company forecasts revenues of $315.0 million to $320.0 million, earnings of $0.27 to $0.30 per share and adjusted earnings of $0.33 to $0.36 per share. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $0.35 per share on revenue of $326.59 million for the first quarter.

For the full year 2015, the company forecasts revenues of $1.30 billion to $1.32 billion, earnings of $1.34 to $1.46 per share and adjusted earnings of $1.56 to $1.68 per share. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $1.69 per share on revenue of $1.34 billion for the full year 2015.
