Stifel Financial Q2 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Stifel Financial Corp. (SF) Thursday reported second-quarter profit of $29.4 million or $0.40 per share, up from $26.1 million or $0.42 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $44.4 million or $0.60 per share. On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.57 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 33 percent to $511.4 million from $384.3 million last year. Net revenues totaled $498.74 million, up from $374.41 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $485.27 million.
