Spatial Appoints Robert Jones as Vice President of Product Development

WESTMINSTER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 2005--Spatial Corp., a Dassault Systemes (Nasdaq:DASTY) (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) company and market-leading provider of 3D software components, today announced that Robert "Bob" Jones has been appointed as Vice President of Product Development, reporting to Keith Mountain, CEO.
As the Vice President of Product Development, Mr. Jones will manage the full range of organizational, administrative, and technical aspects of Spatial's 3D Modeling, Interoperability, Integration, Development Environment, Computing Infrastructure, and Technical Publications groups.

Mr. Jones comes to Spatial from software giant Intergraph, where he served as Vice President of 3D Solutions. Bob managed Intergraph's Plant and Ship design businesses, which involved managing 150 developers located in the U.S., Canada, France, and India to planning the 3D development strategy for his businesses to developing and managing government proposals and projects. Prior to Intergraph, Bob worked in plant engineering and software development for The MW Kellogg Company. Bob has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University.
