SodaStream Appoints Yoram Evan As Chief Commercial Officer - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - SodaStream International Ltd. (SODA), an Israeli manufacturer of home beverage carbonation systems, announced Tuesday the appointment of Yoram Evan as Chief Commercial Officer.

In this new role, Evan will lead and drive the worldwide commercial strategy and P&L execution, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer Daniel Birnbaum.

Most recently, Evan served as CEO of Tsvetnoy Central Market, a Moscow department store, while serving as CFO and board member for RGI International Ltd., a real estate development company. Prior to that, Evan served as CEO of USA Detergents, a US-based consumer packaged-goods company.

Commenting on Evan's appointment, Birnbaum said, "He brings a strong combination of sales, marketing and financial expertise that will help fuel our next phase of global growth. Personally, I look forward to working directly with Yoram to execute our expansion plans as well as having additional time to focus on innovation and partnerships to lead our fast growing category into the mainstream."
