Semiconductor Manufacturing Sees Higher Revenue In Q4 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - While reporting its financial results for the third quarter today, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. (SMI) forecast revenue for the fourth quarter to increase by 3 percent to 6 percent quarter over quarter.

The company also forecast gross margin for the fourth quarter to range from 28 percent to 30 percent.

Dr. Tzu-Yin Chiu, SMIC's Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, said, "We expect growth again in the fourth quarter, which would represent 4 consecutive quarters of growth in 2015. With our Q4 guidance, our 2015 revenue is expected to grow more than 10% year over year."
