RPC Q4 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - RPC, Inc.'s (RES) fourth-quarter net income climbed to $77.6 million or $0.36 per share, from $37.6 million or $0.17 per share, last year. On average, 15 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.32 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2014, revenues increased 29.8 percent to $632.2 million from $487.0 million in the fourth quarter of last year, due to higher activity levels and service intensity in its major service lines and a larger fleet of revenue-producing equipment in our pressure pumping service line. Analysts expected revenue of $636.76 million for the quarter.
