Rocky Mountain Chocolate Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Inc (RMCF) Thursday reported fourth-quarter net earnings to stockholders of $1.5 million or $0.23 per share compared with $96 thousand or $0.02 per share last year. Results for the recent quarter included loss attributable to non controlling interest of $1.3 million.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $1.7 million or $0.27 per share. On average, two analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.17 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the quarter were $11.1 million compared with $10.3 million in the prior year.
