Roadrunner Transportation Q2 Profit Rises; Issues Q3 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc (RRTS) Wednesday reported second-quarter net income available to common stockholders of $14.8 million or $0.38 per share compared with $14.0 million or $0.37 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $460.18 million, up 38.6% from $331.91 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.40 per share on revenues of $439.71 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Operating income for the latest second quarter increased to $26.95 million from $25.01 million a year ago.

Looking ahead to the third quarter, the company expects earnings of $0.37 to $0.41 per share and revenues of $455 million to $480 million. Analysts expect earnings of $0.41 per share on revenues of $454.55 million.
