RLJ Entertainment Q2 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - RLJ Entertainment Inc. (RLJE) posted second-quarter net loss applicable to common shareholders of $16.9 million, or $1.27 per share, wider than $0.5 million, or $0.51 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Comprehensive loss applicable to common shareholders for the quarter widened to $16.8 million, from $0.6 million in the year-ago quarter.

Revenue for the quarter rose to $34.29 million from $17.29 million in the prior year quarter.

On average, two analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.27 per share on revenues of $41.25 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
