Revocation Of Cease Trade Order

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Energy Corporation (OTCQB: CPPXF) (the "Company") announces that the cease trade order issued by the British Columbia Securities Commission (the "BCSC") on November 4, 2015 was revoked by the BCSC on July 20, 2017.  The BCSC issued the cease trade order against the Company for failure to file continuous disclosure materials including the audited annual financial statements and management's discussion and analysis for the year ended June 30, 2015.

The Company has now filed all necessary documentation and is in full compliance with the requirements of the BCSC.
