RDA Microelectronics Q3 Profit Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - RDA Microelectronics (RDA), a semiconductor company that designs, develops and markets wireless systems-on-chip and radio-frequency semiconductors for cellular, connectivity and broadcast applications, reported that its third-quarter net income declined to $9.1 million, or $0.19 per ADS, from $13.5 million, or $0.28 per ADS, prior year. Non-GAAP net income was $12.2 million, or $0.25 per ADS, for the quarter.

On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per ADS of $0.20 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue was $85.1 million, a decrease of 22.1% from $109.3 million in the third quarter of 2012. Analysts expected revenue of $84.90 million, for the quarter.
