Public Storage FFO Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Public Storage (PSA) Thursday reported second-quarter funds from operations to common stockholders of $343.8 million or $1.99 per share, compared with $315.8 million or $1.83 per share last year.

Excluding items, core FFO for the quarter was $1.97 per share.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters projected FFO of $1.96 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net income for the quarter was $218.4 million or $1.26 per share, compared with $207.7 million or $1.20 per share a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter was $538 million, compared with $485.4 million in the prior year.

Analysts projected revenue of $499 million for the quarter.
