Product Recall: Select Units Unbranded Cooked Shrimp

BRAMPTON, ON, March 1, 2018 /CNW/ - On behalf of the vendor, Loblaw Companies Limited is recalling select unbranded cooked shrimp bags with UPC code 060249009271 and best before "2018 OC 20: PM AP"  (see image below). Some of the bags may contain raw shrimp which could pose a health risk if improperly prepared.

The products were sold at the following stores:

Ontario: Fortinos®, Independent®, Loblaws®, No Frills®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Valu-Mart®, Wholesale Club®, Zehrs® and affiliated independent stores

Atlantic: Atlantic Superstore®, Dominion®, Independent®, No Frills®, Wholesale Club®, and affiliated independent stores

Québec: Club Entrepôt®, Maxi®, Maxi & Cie®, Provigo®, Provigo le Marché® and affiliated independent stores

West: Extra Foods®, No Frills®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Wholesale Club®, Independent® and affiliated independent stores

All affected units have been removed from store shelves. Customers can return the product to the place of purchase and the customer service desk will provide a full refund.
