PPG Industries Inc. Q3 adjusted earnings Inline With Estimates
(RTTNews) - PPG Industries Inc. (PPG) released a profit for third quarter that declined from last year.
The company's earnings totaled $378 million, or $1.55 per share. This compares with $610 million, or $2.36 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Excluding items, PPG Industries Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $353 million or $1.45 per share for the period.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.45 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company's revenue for the quarter rose 1.1% to $3.82 billion from $3.78 billion last year.
