    Plumtree Software (Nasdaq: PLUM) today announced continued momentum in the public sector with new customers selecting the Plumtree Enterprise Web Suite for its collaborative and open platform. The new customers include City of Raleigh, Milwaukee Public Schools and Nimblus, Inc.

    Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), with 221 school sites and over 105,000 students, is using Plumtree's portal technology to build a collaborative online community that connects administrators, teachers, students and parents.

    Additionally, Nimblus, Inc., a systems integrator, selected the Plumtree Enterprise Web Suite to build a public safety portal for first responders in King County, Washington. The collaborative portal platform will enable police, fire and other emergency management officials to share critical information, such as evacuation routes, floor plans and hospital locations for incident planning and response. The pilot portal will initially focus on King County in Washington and integrates 34 separate agencies and private companies in 20 cities. The portal also integrates with a geographic information system (GIS) that allows users to visually drill-down to information on any incident site. Finally, the portal will include a management dashboard to summarize and collaborate on incidents, helping to ensure better preparation and procedures for future security threats or emergency situations.
