OPOWER Q1 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - OPOWER, Inc. (OPWR) Wednesday said first-quarter loss widened to $7.0 million or $0.32 per share from $2.7 million or $0.13 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted loss for the quarter was $5.3 million or $0.13 per share. On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.23 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 50 percent to $28.6 million from $19.02 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $25.89 million.

Looking ahead to the second quarter, the company has forecast revenues in the range of $28.8 million to $29.2 million. Analysts currently expect second-quarter revenues of $27.93 million.

For the fiscal 2014, the company currently projects revenues in the order of $116.5 million to $118.5 million. Analysts currently expect full-year revenues of $113.16 million.
