Ocean Power Technologies to Announce Second Quarter Results and Host Audio Webcast

Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:OPTT)(LSE:OPT) ("OPT” or "the Company”) advises that it will be announcing its results for the second quarter ended October 31, 2009 on Thursday, December 10, 2009.

Further, the Company will host an audio webcast to review its second quarter results and related matters on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (3:00 p.m. GMT). Mark R. Draper, Chief Executive Officer, and Charles F. Dunleavy, Chief Financial Officer, will host the webcast.
