Northern Continental Resources Inc.: Russell Lake Property Update

A winter, on-site pre-drilling program of seismic, gravity andground fixed loop TEM surveys is presently in progress. The currentwork program (being conducted by our joint venture partner) isexpanding on the $1,400,000 phase of exploration completed at theproperty prior to September 30, 2005.

Current exploration activities will be followed by an extensivedrilling program which management is keenly anticipating, asexploration efforts to date have provided the Company with severalhighly prospective targets. Specifics as to the size and scope of theupcoming drill program will be released following the Company'scurrent phase of work. The Company is currently well funded to meetexpected future exploration expenditures.

The Russell Lake uranium project is located within the easternAthabasca Basin of north-central Saskatchewan. The 45,742 hectare(113,033 acre) claim group is contiguous with Cameco Corp. to thenorth and west, with Cogema to the south and with InternationalUranium Corporation and JNR Resources Ltd. to the east. The projectencompasses an area approximately 12km by 40 km on strike and betweenthe former producing Key Lake uranium deposit and the presentlyproducing McArthur River deposit. A power line and all-weather road islocated along the northwest boundary of the property, which ispresently used to truck uranium ore from the McArthur River mine tothe Key Lake mill for processing. This region hosts the highest-gradeuranium deposits in the world.

A 40% interest in the Russell Lake Property is under option toRoughrider Uranium Corp. whereas Roughrider must have completed orcaused to be completed $1,000,000 of Assessment Work on or beforeSeptember 30, 2005 and complete or cause to be completed $1,000,000 ofAssessment Work on or before September 30, 2006. The outlinedexpenditures must qualify for assessment credits. The Company willretain a 60% interest in the Property upon Roughrider earning itsinterest.
