Net Insight Wins Order from New Customer in Latin America

Stockholm, Sweden - Net Insight, a leading provider of efficient and scalable transport solutions for media, IP and broadcast networks, today announces that a national broadcaster in Latin America has selected the company's Nimbra solution to integrate a number of its communication services into one platform, including video contribution and distribution, data services and management traffic for centralized control.

The leading broadcaster required a new video contribution and distribution network, integrating all data needs with full flexibility and at a lowest possible total cost of ownership when planning the digital TV introduction.

To lower OPEX, the broadcaster will use the lowest cost service provider for each connection to reach different TV stations. Net Insight's Nimbra solution will enable the broadcaster to operate its networks as one unified network with centralized routing control. With the solution's strong monitoring capabilities, they can troubleshoot and verify the service level agreements (SLAs) relating to each service providers' links. The solution enables the broadcaster to control the activation and deactivation of video connections through the use of the user-friendly interface for provisioning, Net Insight's Touch&Switch.

The value of the order is more than SEK 8 million and Net Insight is set to deliver its solution during the second half of 2014.
