NCI Building Systems Reports 20% Drop In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - NCI Building Systems (NCS) reported earnings for third quarter that declined compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings came in at $19.6 million, or $0.27 per share. This was lower than $24.5 million, or $0.33 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.32 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.5% to $469.39 million. This was up from $462.35 million last year.
