Mylan N.V. Reports 59% Rise In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Mylan N.V. (MYL) reported earnings for its third quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $733.8 million, or $1.43 per share. This was higher than $462.8 million, or $1.16 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.38 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 30.3% to $2.71 billion. This was up from $2.08 billion last year.
