Mueller Industries Earnings Fall 25% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Mueller Industries (MLI) announced a profit for third quarter that fell from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $17.80 million, or $0.31 per share. This was down from $23.82 million, or $0.42 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.35 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 11.2% to $535.18 million. This was down from $602.82 million last year.
